Module 5: Solar-Powered Smart Irrigation
Agri-Tech Innovation: SaurSinchAI
When we asked farmers why they didn’t adopt tech, most said:
“Because it doesn’t speak our language.”
So we built something that did.

SaurSinchAI, my startup’s flagship innovation, is a solar-powered, AI-enabled misting rover that adapts to soil data and terrain. It:

-
Works entirely off-grid
-
Uses color-coded lights for non-literate users
-
Reduces water use by 60–70% compared to flood irrigation
-
Navigates uneven terrain with rugged wheels
-
Mist-sprays instead of flooding, preserving soil moisture
Numerical Impact (2024–25)
-
Pilots: 15 farms across 3 villages (Lanva, Deloli, Dhinoj)
-
Water saved per farm/season: ~1.2–1.5 lakh liters (≈60–70% reduction)
-
Total water saved (pilot): ~20 lakh liters (≈80 households’ annual use)
-
Maintenance model: 12 student volunteers trained as AgriBot operators
-
Adoption intent: 40+ farmers registered interest for next pilot cycle
Why SaurSinchAI is Needed

“It thinks like us,” one farmer said. “But works harder.”

“With sensor-based precision farming, I don’t overwater anymore. My land feels listened to.” – Bharatbhai
